Performance isn't just for athletes.
It's for anyone who asks more of their body and has more asked of them. Long shifts, broken sleep and heavy days take a toll you cannot always feel. Performance blood testing, built to show you where your body needs support.
Normal doesn't mean you're at your best.
Most blood tests are built to spot illness. We read yours through a performance lens, checking your markers against the levels that help you feel sharp, recover well and hold up under pressure, not just the wide ranges that only flag a problem. Over 60 markers, every result reviewed by a doctor and back in as little as 4 days.
Performance is not only for professional athletes. It is for people who demand more from themselves, and who have more demanded of them. That is police work.
The shift takes a toll you can't always feel.
Rotating shifts, nights and long hours pull your body out of its natural rhythm. The research on shift workers, including studies on police officers specifically, links this to real, measurable changes on the inside. We cannot change your shift pattern. We can help you see what it is doing and where to support your body.
Broken body clock
Night and rotating shifts disrupt your circadian rhythm, which studies link to changes in the stress hormone cortisol and how your body handles energy.
Cortisol · rhythmLittle daylight
Working through the dark leaves most shift workers low on vitamin D, which supports immune health, mood and muscle function.
Vitamin DCarried stress
Long-term night work in police officers has been linked with higher markers of inflammation, one sign your body is carrying more load than it is clearing.
hs-CRP · inflammationEnergy and fatigue
Fatigue that rest does not fix can track back to markers like iron stores, thyroid and blood count, the things that set your baseline energy.
Ferritin · thyroid · FBCHeart and metabolism
Shift work is associated with changes in cardiovascular and metabolic markers such as cholesterol balance, triglycerides and blood sugar.
Lipids · glucoseRecovery and hormones
Poor sleep and sustained stress can weigh on the hormones behind recovery and drive, which shape how well you bounce back between shifts.
Testosterone · recoveryYou cannot always feel these changes. A blood test is how you see them, and where to act.
