Epsein-barr EBNA IgE antibodies
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is a type of herpes virus that spreads through saliva and causes glandular fever. After infection, EBV remains in the body for the individual's lifetime, but usually, there are no symptoms unless the immune system is weakened, which can reactivate the virus. EBNA, short for Epstein-Barr nuclear antigens, are proteins produced and expressed by the virus. The immune system produces EBNA IgG antibodies when a person is infected with EBV.
